New Deltec Skimmers - New Pics and Update

Here’s a bit of news on the New Deltec Skimmers I wrote about in a previous article.

These new Deltec skimmers have been spotted in operation. Aquarama had the TC3070 and SC2560 model skimmers up and running.

The Deltec TC skimmer range features a unique, patented t win chamber system which in combination with the new Deltec skimmer pump offers a number of advantages:

The Deltec TC system allows extremely high water flow through the skimmer without causing turbulence. Turbulent flow in the riser tube can draw waste back into the water column and reduce efficiency.

The Deltec TC system pressurizes the suction side of the skimmer pump increasing pump performance.

With the Deltec TC system only untreated water is fed into the skimmer pump, which increases the skimmer efficiency and skimmate output. With other systems the skimmer pump processes a large proportion of already skimmed water.
