I’ve got some exciting news…I’m getting a new job!
A short background story:
In 2008, I graduated from Texas A&M University Galveston with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marine Biology. Upon graduating, I was still working at a local fish store, where I had worked while in college. But obviously I wanted to start my career. I was originally unable to find much work since there was a hefty recession settling in, and I went to work for a small retail company maintaining their computers, network, and their multitude of websites. The pay wasn’t great, but it was enough to feed my hobby and pay the bills. But today I got the announcement I’ve been seeking for over a year…and that is a job offer with a major company as a laboratory technician. I finally get to use my degree and I finally get to start my aquarium build, which has been in the making for a long time now.
As for the blog. This site means so much to me. I will not let it go to the wayside. I’ve put in so much hard work, time, and energy into this site and I will continue to do so. In fact, depending on my new schedule, I may have a little more time to blog. So we’ll see how it goes.
