CORAL Magazine Taking Over iPad and iPhone

CORAL Magazine on iPad

CORAL Magazine announced recently that it will be adding a few new ways to access the magazine by implementing apps for the iPad and iPhone, which by default also makes it available to the iPod Touch. An Android version is also currently in development. The apps will be free to CORAL readers, as least for a little while, as they will be sponsored by “a core group” of advertisers. These new applications will also feature both current and back issues of the magazine, links to video content, and articles formatted for the mobile user.

With an ever shrinking market for print text, especially magazines, this is a very smart move for CORAL Magazine. Many of today’s readers are both highly mobile and love their gadgets, and even if your favorite bookstore doesn’t carry fish magazines, you can always have a great read at your fingertips with these new apps.

About Author

  • Just to clarify, we are ADDING the iPad, iPhone, and Android apps to the Print and online Digital Edition of CORAL. We are not migrating away from anything, just adding new ways to access the magazine.

Contrary to popular belief, growing numbers of people are reading the magazine in ink-on-paper form, but we all like gadgets and the ability to access favorite sources of information anytime, anywhere.

    Thanks for mentioning CORAL.

    • yeah, i actually misworded that. i meant to imply that CORAL is adding it to their repertoire instead of moving away from print forms. i will edit the article asap.
