Tip of the Day 11/2/10

0

Want to use an auto-top off system, but have a fear of overflowing your aquarium and significantly lowering your tank’s salinity levels? If you put your auto top-off on a timer and set it to run for only a little each day, you’ll decrease those risks significantly. If the auto top-off fails in the “On” position, it can only pump freshwater into your tank in short intervals. You will still run into a decreased salinity, but at least you’ll be more likely to catch the accident in the making instead of walking in on the aftermath and having to scramble to save your livestock.
