Plumbing your aquarium can be a daunting task. You need to purchase a ton of parts, make lots of measurements and test fits, plan out the maze of PVC pipe, and finally assemble it all. The only advice that can really be given is to take your time, have plenty of extra supplies, and don’t go crazy with the PVC primer or glue. If you are absolutely not confident in doing the plumbing yourself, enlist fellow aquarists to give you a hand. Their experience could help you out tremendously.
