Have you ever left the gunk from shaving in the sink, only to have your wife come unglued? Try leaving the gunk from a protein skimmer and see what happens. The nasty decaying organic matter that you have just left in the sink, you know the kind that smells like rotten eggs and dead stuff, isn’t exactly a pleasant thing to find, especially when your wife is about to brush her teeth or do anything in the sink for that matter. So, when you get the urge to clean your skimmer and dump the collection cup, be sure to rinse everything thoroughly, or you might find yourself on the couch for a night.
