Anemone at London Sea Life Aquarium

Pictured this week in the AquaNerd Picture of the Week is a gorgeous green and purple anemone from the London Sea Life Aquarium. These anemones are the best looking ones I’ve ever seen. They make the rose bubble tip anemones that are so common in our hobby look like something boring and uninteresting. I’m unsure of their actual species name, as I was so awestruck by their color, but they sort of remind me of the Heteractis crispa, which in some cases has similar coloration. But, the anemone pictured hails from colder waters instead of the tropical seas where we find H. crispa.
