Often neglected, RO/DI maintenance should be done at least once a year.  The pre-filters can become clogged, significantly depressing the pressure and causing the unit to run at less than optical conditions. Change them when you see any drop in pressure, or when the filters become dirty and the deionization resin exhausted. Also, the next time you change out your filters, consider cleaning the whole unit inside out. Even replace tubing if necessary.
