Although all water pumps typically serve the same purpose, that is moving water, each of them does it in a slightly different manner. Some pumps create widespread flow, while others serve to target a specific area in the tank. Whatever your needs are, there’s a water pump out there for you. Just experiment with different setups, try different speeds of water flow, and aim your pumps in varying directions to find out what suits your aquarium best.
