If a single pest is encountered in your aquarium, chances are that there either are more or there will be more. Because of this, take every sight of a pest seriously. That single Aiptasia can quickly blossom into an infestation and your favorite Acropora corals can become overrun with Acro Eating Flatworms in a matter of days. But don’t knee-jerk react and kill your pest without researching them first. Some pests can foul up the water or release offspring when they are being attacked and killed, so it’s a good idea to know your enemy before unleashing the fury.
