Tip of the Day – 1/9/2012

Are coral plugs too much of a hassle to mount to the live rock structure inside your aquarium? Remove the coral from the plug and attach the it to the rocks. If the coral is too encrusted on the plug, try taking a rotary tool and removing as much of the plug as possible. This will allow the plug to be epoxied to the rock and give a more natural appearance. If you are successful in removing the coral from the plug, you can always reuse the plug for future fragging ventures.
