DFW’s NextWave Quickly Approaching

DFWMAS NextWave Coral Farmers Market

For those of you in Texas and surrounding states, the Dallas Fort Worth Marine Aquarium Society (DFWMAS) is hosting their annual NextWave event, and it’s just around the corner. On March 3rd, which is less than two full weeks away, aquarium hobbyists can invade the halls of the ballpark in Arlington to browse from a ton of hot corals and chat with equipment vendors about everything under the sun. The very well attended event, which opens up at 8am and closes at 6pm, will also host a small group of guest speakers, which include Paul Whitby, Christine Williams, Tony Vargas, and John Coppolino…who will undoubtedly knock our socks off. Tickets can be purchased at the door for a measly $25 for the full conference pass, but if you are just in it for the corals, the ticket will set you back $15 for the vendor hall. We’ve been to NextWave events in the past, and we have to say that the DFWMAS organization does a wonderful job and goes over the top each and every year. AquaNerd authors will be in attendance, so stay tuned for an update from the single day event in the coming weeks.
