Anemones of all sorts will likely wander around their new aquarium when they first get introduced. And this semi-nomadic activity doesn’t always stop as time progresses, as an anemoneĀ can pick up and go at any time. This normally wouldn’t pose much of a risk, but given the massive amounts of corals in most aquariums, the anemone can sting and killĀ all manner of reef life. This is further complicated by the presence of very powerful water pumps and powerheads in the tank. A wandering anemone can easily get sucked into the inlet side of a pump and get chopped to bits, virtually nuking the aquarium it is living in.
