Aquarium controllers are great tools to keep certain equipment running at specified time intervals or under certain aquarium conditions, but one thing that’s often overlooked is the fact that they are also great at monitoring and tracking your water parameters. They are so good, in fact, that many controllers have graphing functions built right in. Couple that with a nice user interface for the computer that can display all of this data, and you’ve got a nearly hands free way of keeping track of water temperature, pH, salinity, etc. This information can be crucial for decision making in your aquarium.
