Not every fish in our aquarium has the same feeding strategies, and it is important to specifically target the strategy of each fish in order for them to do well in captivity. Some fish do well when fed small amounts multiple times per day, such as anthias. Others, like frogfish and other large predators, take in big meals all at once. Fish like tangs, as another example, graze non-stop all day long. So, when feeding your aquarium inhabitants, know what each fish does naturally and make every attempt to fulfill their needs. It may even require feeding live foods or feeding at night.
