When fragging SPS corals, be careful and methodical with how and where you do the cutting. A misplaced cut can break off huge branches, when all you were going for was a small branch. The breaks can even occur away from the area you are cutting, often causing a large colony to inadvertently get broken, ruining the look of the colony and negating years worth of growth. So, pick your cuts wisely and don’t apply too much pressure to surrounding parts of the coral.
