Huge Heliofungia NextWave

In the world of plate corals, the long tentacle heliofungiids are pretty much biggest kid on the block. They grow extremely large, often far larger than your typical Fungia or Cycloseris plate, and their tentacles are significantly longer. In fact, the tentacles of this plate coral can become so abundant that at quick glance, the coral actually looks like an anemone. Clownfish are often fooled too, as they will often take up residence in these plates if an anemone isn’t around. Unfortunately, these corals do not ship well at all, especially if the coral is larger. Their tissue often gets damaged in the shipping bag, which leads to infections and other long term issues down the road.
