Tip of the Day – 8/25/2014

If you’re going to MACNA, or any other aquarium conference for that matter, there are a few things you should do to prep yourself for a rather strenuous day. Aquarium conferences are full of people, which means all those warm bodies are heating up the show floor. This warm event can be mitigated by dressing comfortably (shorts and a t-shirt) and by carrying a bottle of water with you. Speaking of carrying stuff, most shows give out bags and bags of goodies, but not always in the greatest quality bags. For this, a comfortable backpack plays a key role in making sure you last the full day. Also, you will be on your feet constantly, so wear comfortable shoes and take advantage of the guest speakers as a good place to rest your feet. By following these simple steps, you can ensure that you will have a positive show experience.
