Stainless steel fragging tools are a must for any active coral propagator, but despite their durable and rust resistant properties, they do in fact rust. It may take a while for any of the brown oxidation to make an appearance, but if you don’t actively clean and dry your tools, they will quickly become ruined. This is especially true to tools with moving parts, such as bone cutters, also known as coral cutters. These can rust shut (or open) and will no longer be able to function, making them totally useless.
