Picture of the Week, Rock Flower Anemones

Rock Flower Anemone Reef Currents

Here’s a pretty treat to help you get through this already long Monday. It’s a trio of rock flower anemones (Epicystis crucifer), and dang they look good. These lovely anemones are Caribbean natives, and even though they don’t play nice with clownfish, they are an awesome addition to any reef tank setup. These anemones don’t get too big, and they often stay down in the sand if their needs are being met there. In terms of colors, the rock anemones comes in a vast multitude, ranging from deep red to neon green, and even purple to orange.
