Tip of the Day 11/6/10

Many LPS corals like Galaxea can have long sweeper tentacles. These stinging tentacles can be quite long, much longer than one might anticipate. The sweepers can sting other corals down current, causing them to retract and eventually experience tissue death. It would be wise to segregate stinging corals, putting them on small islands away from the main rock structure.
