Have an excess of corals in your reef tank but don’t want to hassle with trying to sell them to aquarium keepers in your community or ship them abroad? Most local fish stores will gladly take the corals off your hands, and they’ll most likely pay you in either cash or store credit. Of course, they’ll probably give you more if you choose the store credit route, and you would be essentially trading livestock for aquarium equipment or other corals, fish, or inverts. This also helps the store by allowing them to sell aquacultured corals that haven’t been stressed out by being shipped from halfway across the world.
