Red Sea Reefer-S 850 Series Aquariums

Red Sea will begin selling direct to Certified Dealers & Retailers November 1st 2021. As a consumer this may not mean much to you at first but it will impact the brand in a positive way. As prices continue to rise and inflation fears are of concern across many industries, Red Sea saw an opportunity to fight off another price increase on Reefer and Max series aquarium lines and the whole product line in general.

Traditionally dealers had to go through large distributors for much of Red Sea’s product line. With the new business model, certified Red Sea Dealers can now purchase ALL products from Red Sea directly. This will help keep costs lower by eliminating a layer of distribution. In addition, after meeting with our Red Sea representative this morning, we’ve learned product availably will also be improved upon. Alan and others at Red Sea believe the changes will improve supply chain issues across the country and the likelihood of a product being out of stock in one territory but available in another part of the country will be a thing of the past. More than anything this will improve Reefer and Red Sea aquarium availability for dealers and hobbyists alike.
