Does your significant other have a birthday, or are the two of you celebrating an anniversary? If that’s the case, it’s probably not a great idea to go to a restaurant with a giant aquarium in it. If you’re like me, you’ll be distracted all evening and won’t be able to make your partner feel special on his or her day (let’s face it, even anniversaries end up being about our wives). Of course, this is all a moot point if your significant other is as obsessed with aquarium life as you are.
I should also say that as I give this advice, I’m also planning my wife’s birthday dinner at the Kemah Aquarium restaurant. Luckily, it’s also the place where we had our wedding rehearsal dinner and the same place in which I proposed (geez I’m such a nerd), so it’s really only fitting to celebrate all of our little milestones there right? Let’s just hope I can keep the camera at home.
