The whole point to buying a custom aquarium is to get custom dimensions. Sure, you could opt for a standard sized aquarium with all of the fancy bells and whistles that custom aquariums offer, but where’s the fun in that? Why get something that’s similar to already mass produced aquariums and most likely isn’t in line with current trends? Aquariums with odd dimensions can really make for an interesting and talked about setup. Shallow aquariums have been quite popular in the last couple of years, as well as tanks with a lot of front-to-back depth. Neither of these two features are readily available in mass produced tanks, except for the popular deep dimensions of the Marineland tanks.
