Acan Lighting was out at MACNA this year with their normal array of LED fixtures, along with their brand new and very affordable 300 series. This new fixture comes in 6 different lengths ranging from 12″ to 48″, with the power consumption coming in at 30w per foot. The light has a built-in controller with separate blue/white intensity control and 7 programmable time stages…and you get all that for the retail price of just $299. Pre-orders are currently being sold at an introductory price of $199, which ends on November 30th. The Acan Lighting 300 series will be available January 2013.
Besides the standard blue and white LED models, we were shown a beautiful Prism model (pictured at the top of this article) that sports additional LED colors. These include green, royal blue, and purple diodes which give the light a much broader spectrum to work with and are a nice compliment to the regular blue and white LEDs. There were even fewer details available for the 300 Prism fixture, but we’ll update if anything else comes to light.
