Tip of the Day – 9/4/2013

Sometimes, you encounter early morning issues with your aquarium as you depart for work. When these situations occur, you have to make a critically important choice…either ignore the issue and go to work, hoping things will be ok in your absence, or work in the problem and potentially be late or even miss a day in the job. If the situation is relatively insignificant and can be quickly fixed or there is a temporary work around, take that option. If the issue is significant enough and requires immediate attention, and you have vacation or sick days to burn, then by all means fix the problem. It just might not be a great idea to tell your boss that you will be staying home because of aquarium issues, so pick your words carefully.
