It’s that time of year again when the Marine Aquarium Societies of North America (MASNA) makes their all-call for applicants to their forthcoming student scholarships. Announced just yesterday, the 2014-2015 MASNA scholarships will consist of two $4,000 scholarships, one for a current/entering college undergraduate and one for a current/entering college graduate student. As with previous scholarships, the applicants must have a declared major in one of the marine science disciplines, and the ideal candidate will have made some significant contributions to the marine aquarium hobby. The deadline for the application is set for June 20, 2014.
The sponsors for this year’s scholarships are the same as last year, and include Doctors Foster and Smith LiveAquaria.com, Ecotech Marine, and Seachem. The recipients of the scholarships will be announced at MACNA 2014 in Denver, Colorado.
