Saltwater plant and sea grass aquariums can be quite beautiful, and their care requirements are not dissimilar to reef aquariums. They require a good amount of lighting and decent water flow. But what they do require a lot extra of is sand. The plants need to have plenty of substrate in which to lay their roots.
