If you want somewhat valuable input on the performance and quality of a particular piece of aquarium equipment that you haven’t purchased yet, try looking at the various owners clubs for said items. Just by doing a quick browsing through the various online aquarium forums, we find dozens upon dozens of forums dedicated specifically to a single product and the hobbyists that own it. The aquarists often post pictures and feedback about the product, highlighting things that they love as well as those they dislike. They may find an issue that is a deal breaker for you, or they may just convince you to pull the trigger. Either way, there is plenty of good advice in these forum groups.
