When building an aquarium stand, it’s wise to over-build as opposed to skimping on the planning and materials and under-building your setup. I’ve literally seen aquarium stands that fit together like puzzle pieces and use nothing to fasten the wood in place. These sorts of stand are extremely dangerous and could lead to an expensive disaster.
