Be careful when adding filter pads, filter socks, or any other media to your aquarium. Follow dosing instructions carefully and monitor your protein skimmer. The protein skimmer reacts to every little change in your aquarium’s water. Adding filter material can cause the skimmer to “go nuts” and overflow.
