Friday Afternoon Eye Candy

0

Given the fact that it’s Friday and work is just stressful for many, I wanted to share some eye candy. The video (from dbarsotti) is of a pair of False Percula (aka Amphiprion ocellaris) clownfish being hosted by a green bubble tip anemone. The two clownfish can be seen moving around the tentacles of the anemone vigorously. These clownfish will typically take to just about any anemone, soft coral, or even clams. They will continuously rub their bodies along whatever it is being hosted by in order to build up their mucosal covering. This covering is what prevents the anemone from stinging the clownfish.
