We’re using this Picture of the Week to do a little bragging on ourselves. Over the weekend, our friends at FJW Aquarium held themselves a huge anniversary sale. To help celebrate their achievement, we were in attendance, and of course we couldn’t leave empty handed. We browsed the huge and varied selection, eventually settling on this piece. As with most pictures, this particular image doesn’t do the coral any justice. You almost can’t even see the orange and purple highlights. It doesn’t help that the water’s surface is also causing some blur. Still, it was a good find at a decent price, and we can’t wait to see how the colors do long term.
As for the rest of the highlights from the sale, we’ll post up a quick batch of photos from the event later today.
