When purchasing aquarium equipment, buy from brands you trust, or at least brands that have a good reputation among hobbyists. There are too many people looking for that sweet deal on eBay or other sites that end up purchasing faulty equipment. I’ve heard plenty of horror stories with eBay items malfunctioning.
