ORA Blue Iris Parent Colony
Recently we introduced the latest coral from Oceans Reefs and Aquariums, the ORA Blue Iris Acropora. Initially, there was a lot of discontent with this new release because many hobbyists thought the Blue Iris was too similar to other ORA corals. However, as more photos are released, these opinions change.
The ORA Blue Iris, judging from the latest parent photo provided by ORA, is actually quite different than other ORA corals and its real identity (on the species level) is yet to be determined, though it hasn’t stopped people from speculating. Either way though, I think this coral is just stunning…as with most ORA corals.
