LED lighting is gaining popularity for the aquarium crowd by leaps and bounds. Even more so, do-it-yourself (DIY) LED setups are popping up all over the place. In the following video, an Oceanic BioCube nano reef has been modified with LED lighting. The LEDs give off great color, great intensity, and the highly sought after shimmer effect, all the while using very little energy and creating very manageable heat.
