ReefAddicts.com
There is a new saltwater aquarium website on the way…and it won’t be your typical aquarium site. Over the past several weeks, many of you have noticed random ReefAddicts.com advertisements. You click the link and are taken to page sporting a huge logo, a countdown timer, and variety of social networking links. Upon clicking the social networking links (Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube), a little more information is revealed, including some videos featuring Marc Levenson.
My interest as this point has certainly peaked, as most of yours has as well. So, I decided to email Marc himself. He informed me that ReefAddicts.com won’t be another forum-based aquarium community. But that’s as far as he would go. The plan for ReefAddicts.com is obviously shrouded in mystery, but from what I can tell, its goal is to increase aquarium hobbyist knowledge and share new ideas through aquarium videos, “vlogs”, articles, and various other methods. ReefAddicts.com is set to go live on January 1, 2010.
