Be careful when replacing bulbs or switching to an entirely new lighting system. Drastically increasing the PAR bathing your corals could lead to bleached coral tips, higher temperatures, and possibly total coral death. If you do get a new light setup or change the bulbs, cut back the photoperiod or use something to block out some of the light.
