Octopus Steals Camera From Diver

How would you like to be assaulted by a kleptomaniac octopus? Well the diver in this video got the experience first hand. This video, from Stuff.com out of New Zealand shows an octopus lunge out of a bed of seagrass, rip the camera from the diver’s hand, and make off with the loot. The diver follows of course (these cameras aren’t cheap) and attempts to regain control of the camera. The octopus releases its grip to go after another shiny object in the diver’s possession, a spear gun. Of course the diver took advantage and grabbed the camera right back, letting the spear gun be the octopus’ new toy.
