We’ve all seen the freakishly large Eunicid worms that show up as hitch hikers and wreak havoc in someone’s aquarium. Most people discover the worm after something has died or gone missing, but rarely do we see people feeding these worms or treating them as pets. In the video above, a very large Eunicid worm can be seen swallowing a silverside whole. Most silversides that are sold as frozen fish food are about 4″ or more in length. This huge worm ingests it with ease. I’m sure the site is entertaining, but I would not keep one of these alive in a reef tank, let alone treat it as a welcomed guest.
