When making alterations to your acrylic tank, make sure to clean any shavings and scraps that fall in. Use extra filter pads to trap any of the particles before they get into your protein skimmer or other aquarium equipment. Fish might show interest in the acrylic pieces, but will probably not consume any of them since it’s not actually food.
