Moseleya latistellata

Moseleya latistellata

Pictured above is the not so frequently encountered Moseleya latistellata. The corallites for these corals are usually quite large, and will eventually form around a central, often larger polyp. Like most LPS, the Moseleya do not require intense lighting or water flow. Unlike most LPS though, these corals are often found in muddy or sandy environments where the water is often full of suspended sediment.
