Tip of the Day – 10/3/2010

When testing your water quality, it may be a good idea to check your results with a friend’s test kit. Test kits from different manufacturers often have different reagents and some are more accurate than others. If you don’t have another hobbyist you can bum water test off of, your local fish store should be willing to help. If your LFS doesn’t have a quality test kit, you could send a water sample off to a laboratory for accurate results.
