Tip of the Day – 10/5/2010

Most types of angelfish will nip at your hard corals. To keep nipping at a minimum, it’s best to feed these fish several times a day to prevent their hunger from taking over. If a fish develops a taste for polyps, it may be difficult to wean the fish off the coral delicacy. If you need to remove a coral nipper, simply purchase or build a fish trap, put in in the tank, and hope for the best. You may catch every other fish three or four times before you get the coral muncher, but with patience you will succeed.
