Acropora Colonies While Diving at Kwajalein
Here’s a postcard worthy picture taken from our good friend who has moved out to the Kwajalein atoll. Pictured above is a group of Acropora colonies seen in the shallow waters surrounding the Marshall Islands. Though these particular colonies aren’t exposed at low tide, many of the shallow water corals are. They can be exposed to air for several hours at a time, but manage to survive because of adaptations they’ve made to these conditions.
