When SCUBA diving, snorkeling, or just swimming in the ocean, be mindful of your fins and how close they come to the corals and sand. You can easily knock over corals or kick up a large amount of sand, which can obviously cover corals. The sand will block out sunlight, which may eventually lead to tissue death if it isn’t blown away by the current.
