Want a lot of water flow but don’t want to see all the pumps? The easiest way to achieve this is to paint the back of your aquarium black, and place the pumps there. Since most pumps are black or a dark gray, they will blend right in to most dark backgrounds. Tunze also makes a ceramic rock pump housing that fits most of their stream pumps. This fake rock will even grow coralline algae and corals on it, helping it to disappear in your reef aquarium.
