Sometimes your local aquarium club may not move in the direction you see fit, or events may not live up to your standards. If this occurs, keep in mind that most aquarium clubs and events are driven by volunteer activities. Many of the clubs have board members and moderators that do not get paid, but dedicate their time and efforts for free. So, if you have suggestions for your club or are unhappy with it, either make reasonable suggestions, volunteer as others have, or simply bite your tongue.
