Pictured this week is a cardinalfish that isn’t very common in the aquarium hobby. The Seale’s Cardinalfish (Apogon sealei) typically reaches a maximum of 4 inches in length and can be found scattered across the West Pacific. Much like most other cardinalfish, the A. sealei is a very social fish that can be found in large aggregations. Members of this species typically congregate around branching corals on shallow reefs.
